forgot my password!!!

i forgot my pasword and now i cant send transaction. i have the seed key but dont know how to recover it please help!

Create a new wallet, click on "restore a wallet", you will be prompted for the seed and that is it.

i tried restoring the default wallet with the seed code (25 words one) but I cannot click next. I took a picture of it when I first got the seed code

1.You cannot recover your old password.

2.Which version of electrum are you using ? As far as I know,some versions of Electrum are not compatible with the seed restore function.

3.Have you tried running the restore command from the terminal ?

Yeah right you can not recover it but you can change your password after you restoring your wallet using your seeds..
And after that you can use again your wallet.. did you see the file in menu bar at the top.. just click it and you will see new/restore there..

Had you read the thread properly,you wouldn't care to post ,since that's already been recommended by someone and Op has tried doing that with no success.Oh I forget,YoBitters don't read before posting.

FILE ->NEW WALLET ->IMPORT KEYS (delete space before and after the word chain)

If your seed is 25 words then its probably a multisig or 2FA wallet, not a normal one. I`m not sure how that works though.
