Yes it could work,just see steam now, a big company which selling games,don't have any problem with bitcoin so far and so does with microsoft
our sales will increase??
ofcourse,it'll catch wider area than only fiat users,which mean more buyers will come,so,why not accepting bitcoin when you'll have far smaller amount of fraud transactions rather than credit cards or even paypal
the only problem with bitcoin are double spend and fluctuation,but it can be solved by enabling 1 confirmation requirement and use bitcoin payment API such as bitpay which instantly convert the bitcoin to fiat

I think it could work - why should it not? Even if it doesn't work there is no real risk to give Bitcoin a try. Besides small implementation work there are no costs associated to accepting it.

An entirely different question is, if your sales will increase. I would say yes, if you prominently announce your Bitcoin acceptance here and on reddit/r/Bitcoin. However - at least for now - a positive effect on revenues will be mostly limited to existing Bitcoin users. So you should not expect too much from it and Bitcoin should not be your only payment option. But even if the initial advertising effect has faded, you could still see occasional sales for BTC.

As Bitcoin gets more popular, using it for online shops will gradually become more common. Keep in mind that for vendors Bitcoin also offers an advantage over credit cards, because there are no refunds due to stolen/abused cards.

Many large companies such as Steam and Microsoft are accepting Bitcoin payments for their products/services. Everyone on here loves when you can pay for everyday stuff with BTC.

It is difficult to predict if it will have any positive affect on your sales or not because those who are interested in your products do not hold themselves back just because you dont accept bitcoin but yes it would definitely give your buyers another option to make payment with and this will be good for your store

i'm sure it wont bring you any problems, so it is good idea in my opinion.
but increase sales is hard to predict... at least more visibility you will have(places that accept bitcoins generally are mentioned in media).

yes maam because if you add bitcoin in your payment method of course you can attract bitcoin users like me which gives you more sales and will go to be more profitable because you give bitcoin users the chance to purchase from your site goodluck

Maybe its a yes because more people start adopting bitcoin to used in online shopping but as of now there are only few stores accepting bitcoin and i am happy that the popularization of bitcoin is going to boost someday that is why your business will click to the bitcoin users

What will it cost you to integrate it? If it's a lot of money then I don't think it's going to be worth it. Only a minority use Bitcoin for shopping. The rest horde, trade and buy naughtier things.

If all it needs is a few plugins then why not? Don't expect a sales boom though.

the more merchants start accepting bitcoin, the better. so i definitely say go for it! adding an extra form of payment will potentially bring in more revenue. the only thing to take in mind is that you should not expect miracles or a direct increase in revenue just because you started accepting bitcoin as payment option. if you do some advertising so that people know they can start paying with bitcoin in your store, then it gives you a much higher chance compared to when you silently add bitcoin as payment option.

Okay. First off, you should know the possible risks of having to accept bitcoin payments. There are times that bitcoin's value goes up and goes down, which means whatever your customer paid may either be more or less than the original price.

If you're okay with that, then everything should be okay. It should work since your audience will be larger. Not only that you have the non-bitcoin users as your audience, but you have the bitcoin community as well.
