The world police U.S finally took some actions!

Two separate carrier battle groups built around a Nimitz-class supercarrier, have been patrolling the South China Sea and adjoining waters since June to deter a Chinese attack against the Philippines.

The two carrier strike groups in these carriers consist of 140 aircraft, including 80 F/A-18 Hornets that can either engage in air-to-air combat or can attack naval targets such as warships of the outgunned People's Liberation Army Navy.

1. Since when do we see direct conflict between the super powers?

3. Geographic distance means nothing. If China cannot claim those island, I don't know how can UK claim Falkland Islands.

China will ignore this ruling just as the US has when it doesn't like the way things go for it. Everyone else will 'apply diplomatic pressure' which China will shrug off. They're too big and too rich to risk going to war with.
