Bitcoin research Your answer has been saved! Thank you for your participation Also tried and finished the survey. I do hope that you have all the data that you will need using those survey responses. It seems that some really started using Bitcoin as their topic on their thesis. As far as I remember I already answered two or three surveys before for the same purpose. Good luck to you!

Done!
2 things I noticed:
1. Bitcoins aren't anonymous. You can take precautions to hide your identity but either way it's pseudonymous.
2. There are transaction fees, so to ask if we're using Bitcoins because there aren't transaction fees isn't a relevant answer. I am, however, using Bitcoins because of the LOW tx fees.

Thank you guys ! @Sarthak : I'm sorry I don't see the mistake, I ask a friend who grew up in Seattle to help me but he didn't see what's wrong What should I correct ? @Chris! : Oh I know it's not anonymous with no transaction fees but it's presented this way in most medias, so for making things familiar to most people I let it this way ^^" In a research some people using Bitcoin don't know how it really work, it was a surprise that using Bitcoin doesn't require to understand it! For now I have 40 completed surveys with only 13 users ^^ If you have friends who use Bitcoin, please share the survey

The question how many bitcoins do you have, what does this answer mean "None but already have"?, it's confusing. I wish you good luck in your master thesis, dont forget to post the result of the survey here.

Oh it was to make a difference between people who don't possess any Bitcoin anymore (loss of wallet, reselling all...) from people who never have possessed any Bitcoin ^^' Because the [0;1[ can have like 0.00001 Bitcoin still left! Is it more clear if I say: None , and I have never had ? It's sometimes hard to translate something from French to English, it sounds weird Yes I will post the results and the screen of the donation to the WWF! ^^

@Sarthak : I'm sorry I don't see the mistake, I ask a friend who grew up in Seattle to help me but he didn't see what's wrong What should I correct ? It was not actually a serious mistake but wouldn't it have been even better if you had written '[0-1]' instead of '[0;1[' ?

Is it just me or the scroll doesn't work on the selection of birth year? I had to scroll down the whole page to get my birth year. I am using mobile btw. Another is I can't start the surwy because the country selection does not work. It's grey in color and nothing happens when I click it.

Most people think Bitcoin is anonymous but it is not the case. The people who wants to use money anonymously would rather use cash. The reason Satoshi decided to make Bitcoin Pseudo anonymous was to give people privacy on the Blockchain. You would not want everyone {public} to know all your financial matters, even the banks hide that information from the public. The media took that part and blown it out of proportion to make it controversial. Some of the options was a bit confusing, but in any way it is done.
