How would it be possible to setup merged mining for all SHA-256 based cryptocurrencies at once?

So that one could mine Bitcoin, Namecoin, PPCoin, Devcoin, Terracoin, Ixcoin, Freicoin simultaneously.

AIUI, you can only merged mine two coins at once, and the codebase has to support it.

Multipool - Always mine the most profitable coin - Scrypt, X11 or SHA-256!

Incorrect.  You can marge mine an infinite number of coins at once as long as the codebase of the dependent coin supports it.  People routinely do mine more than two coins at the same time.  They don't have much value but it can be done.

Other than namecoin and Devcoin none of those support merged mining.

Technically Bitcoin doesn't support merged mining but as long as the dependent coin supports it Bitcoin hashes can be used even though Bitcoin is "merge mining ignorant".  From the Bitcoin network's perspective the Bitcoin blocks are hashed as "normal" it just happens that sometimes those blocks (above or below the difficulty target) can be used to solve other chains.  Bitcoin is unaware that the blocks are being used for other purposes.

Except that when you merged mine you get LONGPOLL and you'll get a lot more and it might delay your mining.  No point doing it on every single coin just choose some.

Merging Bitcoin, Namecoin, Devcoin, Groupcoin, Ixcoin, I0coin and Coiledcoin works quite well. If you have lots of RAM you can add GeistGeld to the mix too but its block target time is very fast so maybe the long poll thing could actually have some impact once you include GeistGeld.

The p2pool at http://dvcstable01.devcoin.org:10332 merges BTC, NMC, DVC, GRP, IXC, I0C, CLC and XGG but of course the p2pool software provides no way of paying out the secondary chain coins. So all it does right now for miners is act as a ZERO FEE pool. They get all the bitcoin automatically in the coinbases of the bitcoin blocks mined,

A bounties have been offered by the DeVCoin project for tools to do additional payouts, so that for example the secondary coins can be sold for DeVCoins then the DeVCoins given out to the miners. But no such tools have been released yet.
