Is it just me or does it seem like the daily articles from CoinTelegraph are heavily based around new topics posted in this discussion forum? I'd assume that they read BF since it's the most active bitcoin community.

They and most of the crypto blog uses different source to collect news and post article based on several resources. So obviously this forum could be one of their source of article however i don't think they depend completely only on the news and discussion done here.

Talking about cointelegraph they seem to promote likely ponzis in ads and also post sometime paid articles thats why i don't like them much however they post regular updates on issues worldwide so they are worthy to check daily.

Right, the few bitcoin outlets share most of the popular headlines around the community.

I guess they will try to collect as much of information as possible from everywhere on the internet. Bitcoin forums such as Bitcointalk and reddit are the two obvious choices. Maybe they will also have virtual interview with leading people in the community to obtain opinions.

I'd say as long as they're not copying information word for word and if they cross-reference (Lots of shit getting posted), that's good. Maybe they should provide sources, but this is still good.

You're right and it is far better than writing bullshit. After all, they are run by people. If they really got a lot of information, they should probably donate to the poster or OP

I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

It's the media's job to do research, whether it's hunting for Satoshi or copying gathering data from another news portal (or the Bitcoin Forum).

We should be honored that we are being milked for news articles, it could be worst. They could have fabricated fake stories out of thin air, like all the other media outlets. You see this in many other websites too, they do not hide the fact that they source the "pulse" of the community, based on what is said here and on Reddit. ^smile^
