In the noble quest to bridge the digital divide and get all Americans online, the Federal Communications Commissions (FCC) will be expanding the Lifeline program to provide internet-enabled smartphones that come with a mobile internet plan.

Said the FCC back in 2013.

For years now inside the United States threw companies like Safe-Link and Life-Line low income US citizens (currently 46.5 million individuals) are eligible for free "dumb" phones with between 200 to 500 minutes free each month.
These individuals are the low income, working poor, disabled, etc. The kind of people most vulnerable to the high fee banking system and the high inflation fiat system where they lose 2 to 4% of their savings every year over and over again.

The communities of government housing could be fertile soil for Bitcoin to grow, most people in this income bracket don't even have a bank account. But first they need internet enabled devices.

If the FCC ever did roll out a smart phone and/or internet plan it could be huge for Bitcoin.

Avoid the XT shills, they only want to destroy bitcoin, their hubris and greed will destroy us.
