Hello,

Since this forum is littered with newcomers in the sportsbetting arena, we thought we'd clarify a few things about our site as it has been mentioned before:

1) We are affiliated with BTCSportsBet - the oldest and most trusted Bitcoin Sportsbook. No concern about backing or financial stability of one of these newcomer sites.

2) We're a hybrid exchange; that is, like an exchange you match other users. Unlike a traditional exchange, the odds are constantly updated so all bets take place at the current, vig-free odds at the time of the match. This means that users don't have to watch the odds and adjust their orders all the time if the market moves.

3) What does vig free mean? We use the true vig-free calculation (overround correction) so that both sides receives the same, accurate odds at the time. Nearly all spread wagers are at EVEN (or +100, or 2.0, whichever you prefer). It means that a moneyline favorite of -247 means the person with the underdog gets +247

4) What's the catch? The winner of each bet pays a flat 1% fee on won amount only. That's it. That is cheaper than BetFair or Matchbook, and quite simply the best odds on the planet. It is like paying -100.5 or 1.99 on each bet instead of the normal -110 or 1.91

We've had some positive reviews on SBR (that have unfortunately been deleted with the other bitcoin threads) and 2+2. So if you are really concerned about getting the best odds for your sportsbets, check us out. If you don't get matched, then go ahead and bet at a traditional sportsbook like btcsportsbet.

We will also be seeding NCAA Tournament games so users can get action on either side at vig-free,

Let us know of any questions!

this forum is littered with newcomers in the sportsbetting arena...
...No concern about backing or financial stability of one of these newcomer sites.

I believe the BTC community owes thanks to early adopters like yourself for helping build the credibility of the currency. However, as we continue to grow bitcoin it is destructive to peddle fear to your advantage, like a cable news station looking to boost short term ratings.

Yes, the bitcoin community attracts scammers. Yes, some new sites will turn out to be fraudulent.

However, there are also many honest, trustworthy bitcoin sites being created that we should celebrate, not scorn. I say this as one of the newcomers that you say has “littered” this forum. My site, BitBook.biz, works very hard to build trust for bitcoin by processing deposits and withdrawals within minutes of blockchain confirmation (something notably absent from your service). We encourage new users to deposit and withdraw as frequently as they would like, so they can personally build trust for our service and bitcoin in general.

As a member of the BTC community I am grateful for your contribution, but competition from innovative newcomers is good for everyone.

Trust is built over time - I didn't mean to point the finger at anyone in particular, but the list of failed/scam ventures from 2011 and 2012 is unfortunately long. Good luck with your site!

The only bad thing is that the lines may change on you. There's no way that I could place a wager without knowing the line.  Other than that I really like it with the 1% fee on wins. No one beats that.

Yes, if you are concerned about lines moves, you should stick to matching other users existing open orders (so a bet is created right away, at the listed odds) rather than leave open orders yourself.

The lines moving is to protect users who don't want to stare at the screen all day and adjust their orders or get scalped by a pro like at a traditional exchange.

Thanks for the feedback!

the line changing  did take  time for me to  adjust to when leaving my order up ,  but the  1 % fee ends  up giving  me more money  to work with  it makes a big diff.  if ur not comfortable leaving ur  wager up , just see if anyone one left there wager up,  stop by before making ur bets anywhere  else , if the line is to ur flavor grab it.  u will use  the line u just grabed.  were just helping each other save money and putting food on the table for cusipz (ahhah,im kidding).  later guys gals

Thanks very much. I appreciate it. Hopefully bitcoin continues to gain legitimacy and there will be room for many of us to do very well! The best thing we can do in the meantime is operate in a fashion worthy of such widespread adoption. There will always be scammers, but I'm confident that trustworthy sites (that, as you say, have earned their trust) will be the big winners.

Hello, please contact email supoort for any issues - but on the Signup page, make sure the asterisks next to the fields are removed prior to hitting Submit. They enforce field length minimums, etc.

Thanks!

All games for Thursday's NCAA Tournament have now been 'seeded' with orders for 5BTC on each side. That means you can get up to 5BTC matched instantly vig-free on either side! A few have been taken but a lot are still available - check it out!

Will you be doing any "seeding" of the friday NCAA games? Liking a couple games on friday ATS wise and was hoping you'd be doing Friday as well.

MLB Baseball is back - look no further than the best odds around.

Opening game Texas vs Houston:

Sun 3/31 20:05    997    Texas Rangers
M. Harrison -1.5   +115            -145    OVER 8.5   +109

Sun 3/31 20:05    998    Houston Astros
B. Norris    +1.5   -115            +145  UNDER 8.5   -109

True no-vig 1% fee on won amount only. Better than any book out there, and we will be seeding some MLB games!!

The Texas/Houston game has been seeded!

Currently -149/+149 on the moneyline. Ridiculously better than 'dimeline' or whatever the others are claiming to be the best odds of a bitcoin book Smiley

good luck everuone!

This site deserves a bump...great odds for high rollers wagering 1+ BTC on games. Join now! (I am a not an affiliate, just a player myself, promoting this site so more traffic = more of our wagers being matched).

My deposit had a problem with being credited. Sent 4.10 BTC even to my acccount and was credited 4.09 only. Can you please credit my account the .01 owed?

EDIT: .01 BTC added to correct the issue. Thanks!
