One that gives you control of your private keys

That means no circle no coinbase no xapo.

And if you buy from places like coinbase and send to your oen wallet and then gamble they might follow that and shut you down.

If you need a coinbase account or similar then it would be best to mix your coins with a mixer or exchange before gambling.

I think moneypot.com is what you are looking for ...  a gambling wallet which supports multiple casinos and gambling webs/apps.

To store your BTC I recommend Mycelium or Electrum both are good wallets ... and use moneypot to store only what you can afford to loose.

Thank you for all the recommendations. Very helpful.

Gambling is especially made to use bitcoins but before using bitcoins from any of wallet you must have to mix them as no one can trace the origin and destination.
Mixing is good option for using bitcoins.
Along with wallet must be independent as you have own control over it. I'll prefer desktop or hardware wallet best for staking or storing your coins.

I tried coinbase before i thought that coinbase has a good service but i experience of delay i think it took 1 week before i receive the pending because i followed up that i never gamble but the truth is i receive the funds from primedice which is one of their block list..
I thought that its a good wallet and now i converting into electrum which is no restricted .. i can buck all my private keys.. unlike coinbase.

Hi, I am new to Bitcoins and don't have a wallet yet.

After reading a while here it seems that blockchain is the best wallet.
Blockchain.info is not the best wallet. The best wallets are desktop wallets, such as Bitcoin Core, Armory, or Electrum. These wallets are much more secure than an online wallet; your Bitcoin is actually under your control and not at the mercy of an online service.

Is it also the best for gambling?
There is no wallet that is "best for gambling". They all work in the same way, there is nothing special about a wallet for gambling.
Some online wallets are complained from banning their accounts fro being involved in gambling. So i think thats the reason for asking thing question. Im using Xapo wallet right now but i dont know if i get ban if i transacted on gambling. So far, blockchain wallet is their recommended. But is it safe to involve in any gambling transactions?

You can use some online wallet for gambling, I think you can use blockchain.info or xapo as I know they prohibit all user to gambling.

You can use some online wallet for gambling, I think you can use blockchain.info or xapo as I know they prohibit all user to gambling.

You can use some online wallets to deposit/withdraw coins from/to gambling services with not problem, they don't care.
For example I used to fuel my bankroll with blockchain.info and I have never had any problems so far (but that doesn't mean they won't change their attitude towards gambling in the future!)

But other wallets: Xapo or Coinbase have long history of blocking user's accounts because they detected gambling activity.

The best advice is to NOT use online wallets for gambling. Use desktop wallets instead.

AFAIK coinbase and xapo don't allow gambling. So what I would recommend is either a moneypot wallet if you're a MP gambler, or simply blockchain.info.

I think you can use xapo or coinbase also but better to use blockchain.info because it provide complete anonymity as they don't store your personal details and your bitcoin address is still safe

If you just go ahead and make sure you have 2FA enabled on the Blockchain.info wallet you should be fine and secure with your BTC.

Personally, I like to use Blockchain.info and BitGo.

Gambling doesn't have some specific wallet to be used. Each use based upon their convenience. Most use Blockchain wallet in gambling because it has got the fastest transaction possibility to place bets.

binary trading on secondstrade actually requires hard drive wallet such as electrum.
if you want the safety of your coins, store your coins on hard drive wallet. online wallet won't be safe yet you can use them to which you can access anywhere. thats the advantage.

Its blockchain.info ,no you have wrong information. Its not even closest to the best wallet.Bitcoin Core is the safest wallet followed by electrum I believe. For gambling, blockchain.info could be a good choice if the volume is not very high.I can image how painful i'd be to open your client everytime you have to send across a few satoshi's.

You should read the rules that apply to the use of their service but yes it is quite confusing why Coinbase and xapo prohibit users of their services to gamble. i've one wallet in coinbase and they banned my account because i use for deposit in gambling site.

I thought xapo had officially partnered with a gambling site in some capacity. and they're nowhere near the us which is the main factor. but even if they are cool with it now, they might not be in the future.
