How can I use bit-instant to put money into BTC-E ?

I see the option on btc-e site, but it directs me to bitinstant which says nothing about btc-e anywhere

It looks like it is only income (from BTC-e) at the moment, though I'm not sure.

I do see that AurumXChange (VouchX) can be transferred to BTC-E vouchers.    I don't know the conversion cost, ... probably isn't cheap, but it is one path.

I've been asking bitinstant for a while, but they don't seem interested in responding.  I've given up on them.

You can do the transfer mode right to a bitcoin address, and use your deposit address for BTCe. After 3 confirms it'll show in your balance.
