I only set for ETH which is maximum -ethi 16
For any 2nd coin, I just let it rip and get the Nanos to work as hard as possible
because these Nanos are undervolted using the Heliox rom, and overclocked a bit.
So far these Nanos are heavily stretched but they run cool at 68-72c
So just let them fly....

Did you try play with -dcri too?

At value around 30-35 you will have about the same ETH mining speed, but higher ALT compared to pre-set values

power bill is my major concern.

I am sure -dcri 30-45 will further increase power consumption and heat.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Do you have a watt-meter? My 4x R9 390 + periferia give me 1320W from wall

Yes I use the watt-meter.
My ETH rigs are mining at home so there is not enough amps to go around.
Until, I find a way to send these rigs to join my BTC miners to outsourced DC,
need to underclock and undervolt as much as possible, to save on power.

The only stable change I can make is to reduce the power setting for each card down to -25%. When I tweak anything else, the stability is crap. I will swap the current 750W for my 850W tomorrow to see if that affects anything.  I've not attempted to flash the ROM on any cards.

I dont think it is a PSU issue - but keep us posting on the results

Basically if you have any of the old Tahiti based cards (7950,7970,280X) your highest profit will be at +DCRI 60.

Right now with the current diff, you will make +40% extra per day compared to mining ETH alone.

However,

It will use about 30-40% more power, pretty much the exact same amount of power as in the litecoin mining days. A single 280x will use 300 watts almost.

So depending on what kind of setup you got, it might be worth it for you. Its basically no different than buying a few more 7970/280x GPUs but you don't have to actually buy anything since it will use the exact same amount of power.

After much testings,

If you have a 7970/280x, you are better off dual mining SIA with that card than buying another rig with a RX480. Mining SIA with +30 intensity will make you about the same money using about 6.66W/Mhs when sold for ETH.

Basically its efficient to dual mine only rather than ETH solo mine and sell SIA for ETH/BTC.

This is only true if the SIA difficulty and price are stable.

why is this information important for you?

my warehouse only gave me 63amps, 3-phase.

so i need to be careful on the watts and amps.

I am undervolting as much as possible - to save on power bill

But NOT so easy to undervolt 480s compared to 390s and Nanos.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

How much electricity in Germany nowadays?

If you live close to Switzerland you can rent a warehouse with VERY cheap electricity
