Check Gyft, they have a few jewelry retailers that you can buy giftcards for with Bitcoin. Kay's is on there, I think Reeds may be as well. Also, they have a few other retailers that sell jewelry because they are department stores, you may have access to a larger online catalogue with one of them.

Isn't anything available on Open Bazzaar? I'd imagine jewelry too but what are hot items that is something you would need to decide for yourself to not get taken by the sellers there. I don't think buying this kind of stuff online is any better but atleast some places have buyer protection or insurance.

Oh, if that's the case, contact a Chinese wholesale supplier directly. They know exactly what bitcoin is, and if you can get past the language barrier, you might be able to broker a deal. There was at one time a wholesaler that accepted btc, but I can't remember the name. I was looking to purchase bulk novelty lighters for and online shop.

but I doubt if in the US there are many of jewelers are getting their jewelry using bitcoin. for me, the best option is buying the gift card with bitcoin and using a gift card to buy your interested jewelry. it's will become easy way to do that.

I doubt there's any brick and motor places to buy jewelry with Bitcoin. You can look for some gift cards, find Openbazzar shops or look in the marketplace on this forum.

I tried to find such a shop but could not. I'm not talking about "retailers" with price of $900 per bracelet you can buy for $350 at jewlery shop. At the moment the best way will be withdraw through coinbase BTC to Paypal and buy from www.sarraf.com But they sell not really custom jewelry rather for general people needs On the other side, if you like Pt - their choices are the best in the whole web of online stores

And yes, very true we do produce custom fine jewelry not only for individuals but also for resellers and for bricks-and-mortar jewelry stores. If you look at some of the threads I have posted you will see finished jewelry as well as pieces that are in the wax phase or that have just come from casting, and you will also see some CAD images from the design phase. We utilize low-cost Thai labor and Thailand also has a business-friendly environment with low taxes. Casting is reasonably priced here as well because environmental laws are not as stringent in Western consumer countries. We mostly cast in 18K white and yellow gold and platinum 950, but can also do 14K. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161678835994?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649Just as an example, if you don't go through eBay and buy direct from me with bitcoin the CAD drawing above would be $85 instead of $150. Shopboy and ps_jb if you get in touch with me I can show you many examples of our current projects. I can't post every item online because I make custom jewelry for other jewelers. Their clients might be upset to see me using their design to promote my business, but I can share it with you individually in a PM or an e-mail. I am an American but I've lived in Asia for about many years and have been in this business full-time for over a decade. I am also a Graduate Gemologist (GG) with GIA and a member of their Alumni Association. ~Dave

Dave, I have a couples of questions: - what do you have from Pt chains and bracelets? Can you trade the items on row platinum (0.9999 purity)? Second - what will be price to make a fully rhodium chain for me? I will provide materials (0.999 purity). I'm perfectly aware of high melting point of Rh, but in alloy with Pt (Rh:Pt=90:10 wt) melting point drops (according to the phase diagram). Thank you!

Sorry I don't do chains! I can make a pendant, or any kind of ring, or most any other type of cast piece. Chains are generally machine-made and I am not aware of any chain manufacturers here in Bangkok. Chain actually costs more here than it does in most Western countries so I've never dealt with it because my prices wouldn't be competitive. The only exception to this is baht gold (96.5% yellow gold) which I can supply.
