I think you should have to follow LIR, it has a great potential to increase higher , in the last two weeks its price double up, so in the coming days we can expect the same, so go to yobit and buy as much as you can.

yeah you are right, I am with LIR from the beginning, i have some of them in the first week of their campaign, I wanted to convert them to bitcoin but due to too much busy i did not found time to convert them and after a few days I saw about 50% increase in the price so I decided to not to sell them and with that i earn a good amount and so now I am going to buy more LIR with my remaining money.

nothing really can compete with bitcoin, it has been around for a very long time and it has already succeeded the test and came out with flying colors.
so if you think you should invest in some altcoin now and keep it for a couple of years so that it goes from $1 to $1000 worth, then I think you are wasting your time and money because that is highly unlikely with the coins that are available right now.

That I was thinking too. Buying all altcoins would be a waste of money and time. Hoping I wouldn't regret like I was ignoring Bitcoin last 5 years ago.. Smiley

Thanks mate for the idea. I'll buy LIR maybe it's the next bitcoin. No one know,I think ETH has the possibility also to be the next bitcoin.

namecoin was the first crypto currency after bitcoin and still the only useful altcoin in existence ltc will be ded before nmc https://forum.namecoin.info/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2571&p=16711#p16711

What happen to namecoin? Is it dead? So ltc exists a long time ago but the price still not stable and not as good as bitcoin.

Any altcoin could follow the path of bitcoin because it was the pioneer and most of the current emerging coins are just copying and trying to improve some supposed errors on the bitcoin idea. Bitcoin is the root of these modern digital economy, and that is the most important reason to think that its invention was a disruptive event that never will occur again.

In that case, Bitcoin would be the one and only crypto that has a high value and no alts can compete with it? So what are the purpose of doing alts? For trading only?

Probably, no altcoin can replace Bitcoin since btc is too far away from them and also it's popularity. There's a possibility maybe to an altcoin would follow Bitcoin but it would take years to compete with btc and when it happen btc price would be 1500$ I think and there's still gap between the progressing altcoin.

i think Etherum and Litecoin is the best coin to choose after bitcoin as an alternate coin.
because you can see their price is make sense and stable. And people will always love when the price growing up.

No, I dont thinl ETH may follow bitcoins because it still has lots of bugs. The security of that coins eas not yet fixed. And many are dumping their coins because of the forking. Litecoin, hmf ? Maybe? But I haven't seen many post that includes Litecoin so I dont consider it. Yes maybe because gambling sites uses litecoin and since manh are addicted to gambling. Litecoin can be.

Yes people do love the increasing price of each coin and I think eth has the second highest price in usd but according to its coin users there's a problem regarding with its security and still have bugs.

and I don't think that a person will manage trade with all of the available altcoins as they are in hundreds, I think more than 300 hundreds, so how will he be able to know about that which one will be good at which time and what to do and when!!

forget anything long term and don't wed yourself to one coin. ride the pumps and you'll end up with a whole load more money. if you stick to one coin for years on end the chances are strong you'll end up with zero.

look at the charts on poloniex. there are giant pumps and then they disappear again.

You have a point there mate, how he could manage all if he decided to buy all altcoins that's a lot of money and you'll have a headache on checking each every time. I wouldn't suggest that method coz other altcoins usually pump only a few then dump forever. It's okay if you sold it on the highest price as possible but if you've ignore the chance you'll end up loosing all your money invested to that coin.

I totally agree with you. Don't focus just on long term since there are lot of opportunities on making money on altcoin pumps just observe chart as he suggested there are huge pumps on alts then disappear it's really true they do happen every time. If you hold and alt and invest too much on it you must see the price pumping up and sold it or else you'll end up zero/ nothing.

I thought ETH before DAO but now none as of now. Just pump and dumps, but there will be time when a successor will come!

For me ether is the closest coin next to bitcoin. Its obviously because of market price and trading volume. It has a good features. Dash coin is also a good coin. It has a potential. I think the devs must upgrade its feature.

By Path , do you mean completely controlled by China, like BTC.
Any coin that survives and is not ASIC resistant will eventually be controlled by the Chinese.
(They have the Largest Manufacturing Base In the World at the current time.)

The only coins that can not be completely centralized are some of the Proof of Stake coins.
If you sell your PoS coins for Fiat , you lose mining capacity.
So it has a Decentralization Process built in. Smiley

it is too soon to say which coin can follow the path of bitcoin and become globally famous in order to be used everywhere. because all these altcoins so far are either too young to give any opinion about their future or the old ones are only being pump and dumped to no end.
