Which trading method is better?

At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

For me, better to do btc/altcoin because a lot of traders in them, and the volume is high. and you can get a medium profit from them.
but different with BTC/fiat it's more be quiet than trading btc/altcoins because a lot of people realizes they just get a little profit from there.
and the demand is slight.

Btc to usd or usd to btc is one of the safe method to make a profit so if you have a 1 btc in up you can make a daily $2 to $5 depends in the margin. Also trading in altcoin is one the good idea but the problem is many shitcoin are appearing weakly better to choose the best and legit altcoin that you can hold for a long time..
You can relay in coinmarketcap choose top 10 altcoin that you can hold for a long time and expect for price increase and sell it then buy again if the price is low..

There are allot of trading methods that are good you need to decide for your self to pick the right one you know that there are many ways to trade so pick and decide your own.

In one go with a big capital. Big capital also means more risk. This could be misunderstood by others so be careful with making decisions like this. Better start with bitcoin first. Grow some money and make that as an investment for your preferred altcoin that you really trust. Not just picking blindfolded.

That's right, for understanding about all of the method will giving more experience, but your ending point is correct all of that is depending on the situation and the trading place , because too many factors will affect defining your method and the result will only the two possibilities, for first your method will effective or second it's not effective.

Personally I have made thousands of BTC over the last few years. I have also lost hundreds of BTC. Thats why I *think* you should be experienced in trading.No matter which method you adopt for Trading , it isn't easy.

As much as agree with this, the possibility  of losing money  is bigger.  The more volatile the market is the riskier of losing is bigger but on the other side, profits is bigger in this one.  That is why altcoin market produce  new millionaire and new broke everyday.  But if we know the basic of trading, then i think we are fine.

You have a point, depending on volatility the  more it is the more its profitable as  same as you said. Compare on bitcoin/fiat trading which is somehow have  slow movement  of its price which is somewhat not ideal for investors or  some traders since they like on active moving prices.

I currently do altcoin/bitcoin trading after participating on their respective ICOs because I observed that after the ICO hype of a coin (say, LISK for example), it has a tendency to overshoot or do a pump once it hits the exchanges because investors don't really want to miss out on that opportunity. So far so good, and I'm gaining quite nice returns from what I do. I am about to enter USD/Bitcoin but it seems that I do need to study more before I started gaining profit from that.

But still altcoin is not that much foundable in trading sites. Most of the sites are only for bitcoin trading only. Sites such as kraken, localbitcoins, polenix and etc. Simple trading ethics is selling that when the price is high and buy when the rate is low.

It's not only the basis of a legit or potential coin, there are lots to consider from also you must seek the Ann thread together with its developer and their concept plan. You would actually observed if it has a potential or not. if these things are to be considered first then for sure you would hit the right coin.

when you are only looking to make some profit then none of these really matters as long as the coin is the coin that people have chosen to invest in and in many cases the coin that pumpers has chosen to pump.

there are numerous coins that have been technically bad, with a bad developer and many other negative points but still they have been the most profitable in the history of altcoins.

take ethereum for example. it is a centralized coin with a bad developer but it is full of hype and it is being pump and dumped constantly making it profitable for expert traders.
