I still do not have good idea on how the whole ripple thing works - still trying to learn. If I accept a loan, I would be bound to the fact that I will have to return it, and if I screw up in the process and lost 300 XRP, it would be bad.

If someone gives me 300 XRP, and I can figure out how to get more, then I will certainly return it to the original sender, but since I am not confident yet, I asked for a giveaway - particularly I figured that people are getting 30K or more in free giveaways, so sparing 300 probably would not be a bug deal.

I just do not want to get into obligation for something I do not understand. I can certainly but 300 XRP for equivalent BTC, but I guess that would be really small and not worth the transaction fee.
