The alt accounts in that topic above are clearly just expressing all their views in different posts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1552177.0  only to get paid. how is this not spamming?
Is it fine for me to create 50 accounts and make 50 posts on each thread just with different thoughts?

Don't lock the topics from the next time if you really want people to bother posting in your threads.

Don't lock the topics from the next time if you really want people to bother posting in your threads.

Locking it is kinda a way to make sure thread dies, as once locked most consider it to be fixed and issue is no longer there.   I think you have some good circumstantial evidence but there is not the evidence that make's it guaranteed all one person.   You really need something like proving all the coin's from multiple accounts go to same place, just concrete evidence.

That being said Staff can see a lot more then us.  They can tell if same/different IP.  We really don't know if they looked at it or are looking at it as you locked thread.  As of now I would consider a good chance some alt's there... but no hard proof which is what we need.

That being said 50 is extreme, but you can have multiple account's as long as you are doing nothing wrong.  Gaming giveaway's would be something wrong if you can prove it.  But having multiple account's is not against.  I find it nice just to have 1 to do my post's with but there are valid reason's for alt's (no not 50)

Having multiple accounts is allowed in the forums.
But joining giveaways or signature campaigns with multiple accounts is its provider's responsibility.

Anyways, you may report it to the admin if you have proof.

If it is allowed, what should he report about to admin?
As long as someone is posting thread related posts,we can not term it as spam even if the user has lots of alt.Posting same thing with all accounts is wrong but different things from different accounts is okay

if you make that, you're a crazy one. Never imagine how people can handle so many accounts, is it too crazy to do? login #1 account, log out, login #2 account, log out again , until #50.

I'm not sure what you're trying to ask here. It's all very straightforward.

If you have evidence that a single person is participating in a giveaway or signature campaign with multiple accounts -- and if you are sure that such an act is not allowed under both the stated and implied conditions of that giveaway or signature campaign -- then PM all of your evidence to the manager of that giveaway or signature campaign.

If you have evidence that a single person is posting on the same thread in a way that is contrary to the rules of this discussion board (for example, replying to his/her own posts, making an additional post using an alt account when an edit of a previous post would suffice, acting as if an alt account that previously posted on the same thread was owned by a different individual in order to scam other people or to gain an unfair advantage over other people in that thread in some way, etc.), then PM all of your evidence to any moderator, global moderator and/or admin.

Evidence -- that's the keyword. Let the forum staff determine if something is spam or not. Just present any reasonable evidence that you've gathered to the appropriate individuals.

OMG I get the draw of being in a sig campaign (obviously), but I don't think I'd have enough interest,  stamina,  and/or things to say to keep that up for very long.  It's a silly thing to do, because the chances of you getting caught and banned are pretty high...and it's just shady as hell anyway.

Typical Shit Spamming Indians. Most of the fortune Jack spammers are Indians. How do I know ? Well,I'm one and its easy to figure out from their English. Also, they're alts I may add. There is nothing much you can do as their campaign manager is not bothered about them at all.Mods can't really delete the messages based on an assumption that they're alt's of each other. If you can find addresses linking them, that'd be great.

I thought most campaigns had requirements against one-line responses counting towards your post count?
Some of these people are posting short sentences in 90% of their posts.
I guess the campaign managers don't really care or aren't checking the content of their members.

And yeah its pretty easy to tell that some of those accounts are just alts with the same person posting multiple times to a thread.

most of the posts are in the same board (Politics and society) ... A board where people talk about more to spam (with question really incredibile like "you would eat an human" and so on) .. with off topic it's one of the best board to see people spam, just few posters have a really interests in some argument (btc related most of time...)
