Hi,

I think I grasped the basics of cryptocurrencies. I even managed to mine few fractions of LTC! But it seems I am not able to mine PPCoins. I registered at bitparking and started minerd with parameters as suggested at the site. But even after more than an hour later I did not get any shares whatsoever. I realise that my hash rate of about 10kH/s is abysmal, but I just wanted to play around anyway. Can anybody help me out?

Just give up on mining. IMO the reward is far to low for the amount of work and the odds you will make a return profit are very low.

A back of the envelope calculation backs this up. Actually I am loosing by mining any kind of coin with my high electricity prices. Will look into buing cryptocurrency then, seems more effective.
