The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I have an EK 5870 water block... it has a slight bit of corrosion from the previous owner running non ek fluid in it. It is not really noticable, does not affect temps, and has completely stopped since running it with only EK fluid.

Let me know what you think its worth.
