I am curious as to the removal of a recent thread about cheap BTC.

Is the website that is selling them a scam?
They seem to sell all kinds of stuff related to web-based games and such.

I don't want to post the link - the one posted links to another site...

Anyone?

Cheap bitcoins are always a scam.

Why would they sell cheap if they can get full price at any exchange...

Someone has been trolling the chats....advertising that they are paying $60.00 for 3.1 BTC.

If it sounds too good to be true...it usually is.  Just saying.

Be safe and Happy Bitcoining.

If the post said "selling $20 bills for $15!!!" no one would even consider that it is legit. Why would it be different with bitcoin?

Sure, no doubt about it... But people do set up sales of stuff, then later the value of said stuff increases or decreases.
I don't wish sound thick, nor do I want to seem like I am pimping for a potential scam.
If they only dealt in BTC, I would definitely agree.

The website accepts Paypal, credit cards... I think that affords some protection.

Is there a comprehensive list of scam-sites somewhere on this forum?

When a user is marked SCAMMER, it shows up under their nicname where the coins used to appear (a bunch of red X's appear).
