I just found out about Bitcoins not to long ago. I am super excited about the potential of this currency and am very interested in getting into mining. I'm super conflicted with ASICs impending which will increase the complexity. Do I spend the money on a GPU miner before ASICs are mainstream to get into the game? I don't see myself breaking even before the complexity jumps. Do I look into FPGA rigs...? I'd rather not pre-order a BFL. I want to put my money to work now!

Recommendations?

lol...on my 2nd week of bitcoin high and I am in the same boat. FWIW...forget about fpga's...they have gone the way of the dinosaur..asics are here to stay. I am going to buy a 2nd gpu and mine until I can overnight order a asic from a reputable source. Any extra money would be best spent just buying btc from what everyone is saying and the way the price has jumped. I hope that getting into asics by summer is not to late.

New to bitcoin? Want to mine? Not sure where to start out?
