Best advice in my opinion. Never try to win it back. Gambling is playing with your emotions, and the only way to get a profit out of it is by controlling your emotions.

I dont think that 485 profit will any affect. This is just some $15 lost and I guess it wont be a really big deal for anyone including him so better try again next time to double it to recover your loss before

I suppose the mindset in these things is that one wishes to gain more. Even if you have a certain goal you wish to attain, luck can always fall the other way and kick you down when you're almost there. Once you start losing, it's difficult.

When you get a taste of the amount that you had at the peak, you want to get back to it. That's when you start crashing and then everything falls apart. Once you fall more and more quickly towards the original deposit, I assume the thought process is that gambling will continue, only until you reach the original deposit.

This thread in a nutshell - don't do martingale kids, it will ruin you in the end. And I bet exactly this happened with the Op here.
He first started to lose some, and win some, martingale kicked in and  kept him alive, and then after couple bets it took his whole bankroll to recover another lose bet.

Turned $15 to $500 was an awesome luck but the end result was so suck! Why not cashed out some to play again the other day? Martingale on any payout would destroy our finances, especially if we do it in a long period of time. So, it's better to avoid martingale!
