Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Article was OK. No real opinion put forth by the writer, just a regurgitation of others' opinions. Comments are unintelligent, as is to be expected.

+ that to reply one needs to register on the verge. Anyway I reply here because I love the Bitcoin community, your input is valuable, unlike most spamthreads on most newssites...

So it is not considered as "money transmitting" if I just buy stuff with Bitcoins. Is it considered "money transmitting" if I buy Bitcoins from an exchange? If yes, I think I'd rather find a job with Bitcoins as a salary(the hard bit), or I'd rather go to some Bitcoin meeting parties(never found the need to yet, since exchanges are most practical at the moment...)

There may still be hope for the 1st decentralized cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. How to approach different subjects is key to progress.
