What are your experiences with these 2 services? I'll start:

Coinbase

It was a nightmare since the beginning, I created the account and I couldn't buy any bitcoins because my account "wasn't authorized" or some shit like that, I emailed them and never got a reply, I went to their forums and after a week finally someone unblocked my account so I could start using it.

It was fine for a while but then one day I had a few purchases already scheduled and and forgot to transfer funds to my bank account, when I realized that I figured no problem, I'll just add them now but guess what, they blocked my account and I got an error message while trying to purchase more bitcoin saying that I needed to re-verify my information.

I emailed them and as usual there was no reply (I don't even know why they have an email), I went to their forums again and there was also no reply, in fact they never really reply to anyone, their service is garbage, I got pissed and ended up transferring all my bitcoins to my Circle wallet.

Circle

They were amazing since the beginning, in less than 5 min. after creating my account I had already purchased my first bitcoins, their app works really well and I've never had any problem with them, in fact you can even chat with them on Facebook unlike Shitbase.

My only issue with Circle is that the purchase limit is too low, about $300 a week, with Coinbase it is $2000 daily. If Circle could increate their purchase limit and had a good marketing campaign they could seriously overtake Coinbase.

Does anyone know of other good alternatives to those 2? We seriously need some good competitors ASAP.

Hi Alley, thanks for replying.

What do you mean they removed all mentions of bitcoins from their site? It still says "Buy / Sell Bitcoin"  Huh

I neither have used one of them.
Both require AML/KYC and track your transactions at least for one or two hops.
Bitcoin was designed to be used without any middlemen. That's why I only use open source wallets where I have total control of my coins without beig asked ridiculous questions. And I can send my funds to gambling sites without having to worry to get my account frozen!

I know man, a lot of people prefer to store their own bitcoins.

Me personally I don't like having them in my computer that's why I prefer online wallets (with apps for easy access). Unfortunately the ones we currently have are not the greatest, but I'm hopeful we'll see some decent services in the future.

I still think coinbase is reliable, especially its referral system has made it quite attractive and there aren't any transaction fees when dealing with your wallet. Speaking of wallets, i actually think Blockchain is a much more simplistic and user friendly intereface out there; they have transaction fees but i think it's totally worth it.

I use non of them, but I know coinbase is very known, can't say the same about circle. Which is better? Well, I think everyone will say coinbase but some members from this forum posted there that coinbase stole their money, becouse there payment wasn't done for 1 month but I don't know if this is trust. Despite this, my opinion is that coinbase is better absolutely.
