This market will settle at 1 Bitcoin if Bitcoin rises above $49 within the specified time and date.

The market will settle at 0.00 Bitcoins if Bitcoin does not rise above $49 within the specified time and date.

Expiry will be based on official data from Mt. Gox and TradeHill. This market will be settled when said rise is announced. The rise does not need to take effect for the market to be settled.

I am selling shares of this bet at .95 BTC. A share will entitle you to the market rate from the share creator at the end of this bet. If you think this event will occur, buy from me or other sellers. If not, sell your own shares using this existing contract.

Someone really needs to make a prediction market website, so you can create predictions about anything, with an expiration date, and these act like shares that people can buy/sell.

However, that does not justify spending .95 BTC for a .05 BTC increase. $2.50. LOL.

Maybe explain the process better using inputs and outputs. $2.50 is low gain over a 5 fold increase after the crash. The loss of $49 worth. Dude surely I'm mistaken.

That's a project that people have eben working on since bitcoins were at about 10 cents each.

I know Kiba was working on it fairly seriously.  The only one that really came to much was bitcoin sportsbook, which also took bets on bitcoin prices, they didn't allow users to make their own markets thoguh, which I think would have greatly increased the utility.

Well, I'm not intending to be the only selling this bet. Frankly, I feel it's going to happen, hence my high price.
