What happened:: User dogevisitor refused to pay for a raffle ticket worth of 0.03 BTC. We had agreed in private that he will pay later. Raffle filled up and he didn't win, and he then refused to pay for the ticket.

How is he refusing to pay for the ticket. Has he actually said 'I am not paying for the ticket' or is he not responding to PM's? I'm sure there is a good reason since he is a fairly trusted member. Scamming someone for 0.03 BTC doesn't make sense :/.

He said he "though it was cancelled" even though earlier he had clearly said he will pay it later and there was no messages of cancellation and his ticket was also visible at the thread starting post, etc. He did respond to my PMs.

Hi guys!

Indeed I told Anduck that I would pay as soon as more spots are filled.
That week I was out of town and didn't have acces to my wallet, so I wasn't able to pay on time.

Seems my ticket wasn't invalidated, even if I didn't paid, and the raffle begun, forcing me to pay.
This didn't seemed fair to me...
Most of the raffle owners, invalidated someone's bid if he didn't paid on time.

Anyhow, I will pay 0.03 to Anduck just to solve this dispute, but still, this doesn't feel right for me.

Anduck: Please post here a payment address and will pay in max 24h.

I took the liberty to send to the raffle address, I hope that is not a problem.
Also I hope we can do better business in the future.

Not a problem. Thanks.

We didn't talk about any timeouts. Simply, we agreed that you pay for the ticket later. I don't see why the ticket should've been invalidated, since it was already bought by you (but waiting for payment, which we agreed you'll deal with later.)

Or in other words, it was clearly not a reservation or anything like that: it was a buy ("I'll take C") with delayed payment.
