I went to the LA Satoshi Square and about 30 people turned up for the event. We had some challenges with the trading software, so we had to go to pen/paper and shouting, which I think is very much in the spirit of Buttonwood. Everyone was very nice, and of course we all started swapping Bitcoin stories. We had some impressive guests (which they declined to be mentioned) and I think I conducted the first trade of the evening (Buying 1BTC for $112). Interesting, the value of bitcoin was much higher then the market (defined by Mt. Gox) but I think a lot of people were buying it for the novelty of the exercise. Super thanks to pinguino and the organizers of Spelunk.in for setting it up.  Satoshi Square (Project Buttonwood) In-Person trading Wed. June 12, 2013 6:30-8:00 pm Downtown, L.A. (Grand Park) Spelunk.in invites you to attend Los Angeles’s first open air market! Satoshi Square LA will be Wednesday, June 12, from 6:30p-8:00p. We’ll be meeting up at the newly launched Grand Park downtown, at the fountain. This event is based on the Satoshi Square events in New York, and we’ll be using a version of Josh Rossi’s software to run the trades. The first 20 people to arrive will receive Gogocoin cards, filled with $5 worth of bitcoin each.
Grand Park is located in Downtown Los Angeles. It’s very close to City Hall and the Walt Disney Center. You can get there easily on the subway at the Civic Center stop. Parking for Grand Park is available in Lot 10 on N Broadway between First Street and Temple Street. Click here for a google map.

mrverax, I'm assuming your in L.A.? I'm back in NYC at this point. Bitpappa, thanks again for coming out! I had a great time! I'm not sure if I'll be selling the new shirts online. I might keep them exclusive to meetups but I'm not sure yet. If you want one, hit me with a PM. I should have official pics soon. I hope my guest wasn't too distracting...lol.
