Perhaps with the recent string of account hacks that have occurred on bitcointalk it would be good measure to send out an email to all users who had accounts created before the password hashes where hacked to tell them to change passwords. If everyone did this we would have a lot less successful attacks. Im sure an email has been sent out before but now that bct is being targeted a fresh reminder might go a long way.

Anyone who received the email has already changed their password.

No one uses the old database that was leaked.

So are all the recent string of hacks just from accounts that havent been used in ages? There was literally one guy on yesterday that got hacked whos password was cheung24234 or similar. Thats not bruteforced so he either got phished or they used the old hashes.

Theymos already did this when the hack happened.

That was me. Robertt-.

I won't say how I got it but it doesn't involve the db or phishing.

Well theres not a whole lot of options is there. I doubt your sending trojans out all over the place, I doubt your even using linux. I doubt you bruteforced it unless you have access to some pretty powerful computers. the only option is the database. Im more than confident you dont have any 0day hacks like you suggest.

The time to change your password was well over a year ago.

I don't think the folks at Optus will think very kindly of what you are doing. I would suggest that you stop immidiately.

Also, no one is going to believe that you are using a 0-day to sam pennies from people. If you really have a 0-day then I would suggest that you contact theymos who would likely pay you ~$10,000 for telling him about it and allowing him to fix it. It makes pretty much zero sense in trying to scam a few dollars every night.

It was last year that the database got leaked. If your account was created after that then you wont have gotten an email.

You use Chrome with Windows.

If you want to prove that you use Ubuntu then go ahead and post screenshots proving this.

Good.  Better leave and never come back because you as a person have been banned from this forum anyway.  If you're so skilled go bother primedice instead of bitcointalk.

Trusted an exchange that climbed to the top 3 in just under 2 years with your money? you are fucking stupid.

I don't have Windows, I did but I no longer do. Accidentally wiped it while installing the two.

I'll post screenshots later, I'm going to go outside for a bit.

Hes probably just going to go to the effort of installing kali amd taking screen shots just to prove it to you.  Screen shots don't prove that he even knows how to use it.

It isn't even hard to install ubuntu or kali linux.
Simply download the OS, then make a bootable usb and install it and you are done.
I have ubuntu and windows, I can show you Wink
