I sense sarcasm, and I really hope what I sense is there, but I'll humor you... for the sake of...

His post about only posting substantive posts wasn't substantive.

It was a good observation Crazy.   Grin Tongue
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Did you guys hear about the guy who had a heat stroke and minor brain damage after falling asleep in his room full of miners running overlocked cards?

I'd rather do that than posting 50 times in this tiny subsection of the forum but looks like we have no choice.

Is this serious? I'm actually doing the same thing lol. Maybe I should move them out of the bedroom

I find it to be a serious issue.  I have to factor in HVAC costs.  My bedroom is a sauna unless the A/C runs 24/7. and I'm at 45 degrees North.

Vendors:  Please add water cooling options to your ASIC miners!  Home users don't want to add-on to their homes in order to host mining, and water is much cheaper than A/C.  It seriously affects payback calcuations.

Anyone computed the HVAC costs of LTC vs BTC mining on GPUs, ASICs?

water cooling is nice.  quiet.
i need to sell a 60gh rig.  i might add value by water-cooling it.

This will constitute my obligatory 5th newbie post.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give a man a Poisson distribution and he eats at random times independent of one another, at a constant known rate.
