Bitcoin need a killer App like Pokémon GO

It's a great idea! Everywhere I see people whether it is with cars, bikes, scooters, or just walking, they stop at very odd places to catch their pokemons. You can start small with creating a simple faucet based on maps in the local area of that person, where on each location there are certain awards of 200 Satoshi's, a bit further there is a reward with 400 Satoshi's, with here and there a jackpot that is only showing for 5 minutes containing like 5000-10,000 Satoshi's.

We need a similar App or Game like Pokémon GO, where people go out there and pick up bitcoin. How difficult can it be to fund something like this and have people looking for bitcoins or heaps of

Satoshi's? This new phenomenon called, Pokémon GO has taken off like a rocket, and people are joining in their millions to search for virtual items. Imagine you are a coffee shop owner and you just

launched your first Bitcoin payment option for your shop. You sponsor 1 x bitcoin towards the launch and login to a site that distributes these Satoshi's for you. Each group of Satoshi's {valued at +/-

the cost of 1 cup of coffee} are then being generated in and around your shop. People will be drawn to your area and they will have money to spend on 1 cup of coffee, if they find it. Multiply that with

all the merchants in the area and you will have a frenzy of Bitcoin hunters in your area. Foot traffic = Sales and this will generate that traffic in your area.  

So, who are going to create that killer Bitcoin App for us, to launch this to the Moon?  

It's a good idea , it will help us know our region bitcoin users , it is the very thing I wanted. where I always wanted find bitcoin users in my area so it can be swapped easily without any risk. we will need an application such as selecting some coupons on the site and convert it or collecting toys and others menyerahkanya to several places after getting bonus bitcoin . I think this is a very good idea to introduce bitcoin to the people.

I agree that pokemon go is really an addictive game however in their you have to find pokemon which don't have any real world value or price so company can easily run without giving anything to their users. If we go with your idea than we have to give bitcoin to users from our pocket and we can't give much so it will be just like faucet payment which will be really low and people may not like to travel for it.

if the ads can fulfill every month bitcoin needs which will be distributed to the players that will not be a problem,but the thing is just like pokemon,gps can be faked,so does with OP's project in the future because no system is safe,if pokemon go can be faked it's no problem,pokemon have no value,but different with bitcoin

That would be nice. Since Pokemon is another Japanese invention, why not start in Japan where bitcoin is somewhat popular as well? From where I belong, Pokemon Go is not yet officially released and I don't have any judgment yet on how good a game it is. But from the buzz I've been hearing, it sure is a big hit. Wish someone could come up with the same idea about making bitcoin more popularly known.

I havent downloaded the app for pokemon but definitely a great idea. All anyone can talk about is this pokemon go and bitcoin needs some of that
type attention. I heard of people meeting in large groups and hunting pokemon guys together lol.

This is a funny and hilarious idea. But this will just click and people will begin to love it. This may increase bitcoins activity as well as increase the business clients. Integrating new experience to bitcoins and business will just carry a positive impact on both the business sector and bitçoin industry

Pokemon has been around for decades and has been a very loved game for many people since their childhood and it's completely normal that the mobile version has garnered such a huge following because it combines the already famous and loved element of Pokemon with a novel thing like augmented reality and this is what makes this game such a big hit. We simply can't compare Pokemon to Bitcoin because they are completely different things and Pokemon is much more attractive and famous than a digital token like Bitcoin.

I still don`t understand that Pokemon Go thing and why it`s so popular.

I was a Pokemon fan before 15 years, when i was a kid.Now adults are playing Pokemon.

No one is going to be able to make a app like Pokemon Go, Pokemon Go is so popular at the moment and so many people have it.
I do not think that Bitcoin is going to be able to also make such an app.

Well, you could always put a restriction on the amount of Satoshi's or Bitcoins for that matter, that can be distributed. This way, a exploit cannot drain all the funds of the Advertisers or participants in the

funding side. I would much rather see something like this take off, than having people sit in front of a computer.... clicking on faucet sites and solving Capthas. What is better than walking around and

finding bundles of money stashed away in secret places... I would much rather do that, than searching for little Pokémon's without any value.

This is actually possible to do, this concept is just like a faucet but the difference is this requires more effort because we have to walk to some places to earn the Bitcoin. But we need a company or people who have much Bitcoin to invest on this, because the reward must be quite a lot so that people who never know Bitcoin would be interested with it. It can't just give 1000 satoshi as the reward, no one will be interested except the Bitcoin user themselves.

Pokemon has been around for 20 years and was in many peoples' childhoods, that's why Pokemon go is so big. Even if Bitcoin were to make a game similar, it wouldn't be nearly as popular to the general public. That's not the goal of the thread I can tell though, a game to make earning smaller coins easier for starts sound great and if all goes well it will bring more users in too. Great idea, hopefully no one is expecting it to be as popular because I highly doubt it could.
