Hello,
I was into Bitcoin a few years ago but abandoned it after getting hacked and losing all my mined coins.  Anyway, I'm investing again and had a couple questions.  This is a brand new bitcoin-qt wallet that I setup.  I have 2 received transactions so far, one of a large amount and one of a small amount.  I also sent some, but that transaction hasn't cleared yet, it was a couple of days ago.

Questions:
The  "Available", "Pending", and "Total" in the wallet only show the smaller received coins, the other coins aren't included, even though they appear in the transaction list.  Why are they not there?

How long do these send transactions take now?  I don't remember transactions taking this long years ago when I started.  Edit - here is the transaction: https://blockchain.info/address/1PzED2NsMKbWbJ946FbA9VKy1D5seSTJU9

Thanks!

That transaction may take a long time to confirm because you didn't include any fee.  Normal transaction with recommended fee usually takes anywhere from a minute to 1 or 2 hours (depends on your luck).
It is hard to guess how long a zero transaction will take to confirm.  Usually it confirms within few days if there's no additional problem (like dust and unconfirmed input).

Not sure about the incorrect balance.  Posting a screenshot of it might make things clearer.

Trusted an exchange that climbed to the top 3 in just under 2 years with your money? you are fucking stupid.

Interesting, that shouldn't happen. You should see them in Available.

First of all, that is not a transaction, that is an address. Secondly, you did not include a transaction fee, so it will take a long time to confirm, if it does at all.

What version of Bitcoin Core are you using? It should never allow a zero fee transaction.

Sorry, here is the wallet screenshot:

Can you show the transactions tab? That will have the full transaction list. There may be other transactions that spent the large transactions.

So with the zero fee, I just have to wait it out? Sad
If you are using Bitcoin Core 0.12.0 or 0.12.1, you can go to Help > Debug Window and click on the Console tab. Then type in the box at the bottom
Code:
abandontransaction aaddeaa91cc7ed77b58044fa274cd6abaa0dd46b90f42a5bf05ab052775e0f28
If it doesn't give you an error, you should then be able to respend the inputs spent by that transaction.

If you do get an error, start Bitcoin Core with the -zapwallettxes option. To do that, right click the shortcut for Bitcoin Core and choose "Properties". Then in the box labeled "Target", go all the way to the right in that box, past all of what is already there. Then add -zapwallettxes. Make sure there is a space between that and what is already in the box. Then click OK and double click the shortcut to start Bitcoin Core. When it is fully started, you can edit the shortcut again and remove what you just added.

So when you respend them, make sure that you include a fee. To get a good fee, click the "Choose" button next to "Transaction Fee" on the send tab and choose the radio button for "Recommended". Then slide the slider all the way to the right to "fast". That will get you a high enough fee to have the transaction confirm quickly.

Thanks for the help.  The only transactions on the transactions tab are the 3 that are on the recent transactions list.  Need to go eat, I'll do the other things when i get back.  Thanks again!

So I did that, and didn't get an error.  The full amount is back on the main screen.  The transaction is still there though, is it always going to be there?  I haven't resent anything and now I'm not even sure I want to or even should.  Is there any way to clear the transaction from the wallet?

Thanks.

It should remove itself once the transaction drops from the network, although I'm not entirely sure. To clear it from the wallet you need to use -zapwallettxes. It's okay to leave it there and it won't affect your wallet.
