How to sell stuffs online and earn Bitcoin?

bitcoin really needs something like e-bay and amazon to start being more serious as a real currency. the openbazaar project seems good and promising but i don't see it taking off yet, and it doesn't seem like being that much popular.

a new things always need a time to be popular but the openbazaar seems only could targetting people who advanced on using internet,just like people who know what's exactly P2P is,but the thing is there's so many people don't even know P2P and it's a problem,so actually openbazaar can't cover larger area than usual online shop

I'd also like to hear about experineces of people who are selling stuff for Bitcoins. But not professiional sellers who sell on eby or have their specialized web pages. I have in mind occasional selling or selling the stuff that you don't need anymore and have some value. What would be easier to sell, what people demand the most?

Basically, you can sell anything but the best selling items are gadgets with big name brands. Also, on-trend fashion items such as top branded dresses, shirts. Branded watches, toys like Lego, bikes, shoes and more.

This thread must be moved to either 'general bitcoin discussion' or at least to 'beginners and help' section. Regardless of nature of economy of this topic, it may motivate many people to start some new bitcoin based businesses.

It is a good idea but it requires more work. You still need to optimize your website and increase traffic but if you are an expert with it, then it would not be a problem.

It is a good idea but it requires more work. You still need to optimize your website and increase traffic but if you are an expert with it, then it would not be a problem.

That means he gonna adopt bitcoin and then site Web development is nowdays to work site makers and if you need to sell your stuffs means you could create a thread in goods section and sell it with escrow to concern person.

That's why the open bazaars statistic is not showing good things, in every period their statistic is always same. open bazaar is needed a new blow. but behind a lot of people is don't know about the open bazaar and just could targeting people is advanced for using internet i think the basic market like amazon is still keep their domination.

Finally she able to shipping for first bitcoin customer on Africa and get paid by bitcoin

The best option is that you go to the services section and there create a thread about what you want to sell and details about the product and all other about it , It is sure that from there you will get much better response.

Thanks for that link, Op. Although I knew about some platforms which enable you trading goods for bitcoin it is always nice to see more info about it.
And I never actually heard or used sites like Bitify.com or Eggify.com. So I am gonna check what these sites are about.

My opinion on this is that until bitcoin takes off, gets used by everyone, people aren't going to use bitcoin to buy anything.  You can just go to Amazon and buy with cash.  The selection of goods is nearly infinitely higher than any place that deals only with bitcoin. 

From my experience looking at the goods marketplace on this forum, it's hard to sell things for bitcoin.  People just don't want to loosen their grip on them.

Until this time they're never wanna for advertising their site into the common people or bitcoiners and that's why their site feels difficulty for growing. although the open bazaar is already having the users in them but maybe sometimes their users will retire from there because not enough buyer in them

The marketplace section is good but keep in mind not a lot of people are looking on it from outside this forum, I als think that you than have to publish it on other forums to be honest.

What about cosmetics and perfume stuff? Is there maybe some specialized site where you can sell these for Bitcoin? My girlfriend has a lot of this stuff that she doesn't use so why not to earn some?
