Hi Litecoin enthusiasts,

We are all watching all the trouble Bitcoin has in recent times regarding block size, scalability and so on.
I would say that it is perfect opportunity for its "brother" which is very similar, but different.

Why this is not happening? Why Litecoin is not gaining popularity now?
I'm interested in your thoughts.

bitcoin has no trouble at all, the fact that the block size has not yet increased is not a trouble in my opinion.

my theory is this:
litecoin will change soon with bitcoin price and as soon as bitcoin starts to move up, litecoin will follow. right now everybody is accumulating both of them. so expect a huge rise soon.
it has happened so many times before.

to the moon with bitcoin...

It has been over a year since the last serious litecoin pump.

It had a few tries and started drifting a bit after as bitcoin was increasing. I Expect it to start running soon as people have had enough time to hoard and history has shown us that everybody is willing to see it flip a few times before cashing profits.

I don't think you will get a better time to buy litecoin than around these numbers.

I cant justify spending my bitcoin on litecoin at thw moment as much as i would like to because bitcoin is still going strong.  Anything i convert into litecoin i then lose from bitcoin.  Bitcoin just seems the safer bet for now and the foreseeable future.

Litecoin will spike whenever Bitcoin does. I think Litecoin will gain more though percentage-wise.

Ok, maybe I was not clear enough, but I didn't really mean its price / value.
I was thinking about Litecoin popularity, new services, etc.

So basically - let's say such scenario:
Due to "issues" and still unclear solutions to it (with Bitcoin), companies decide to use Litecoin as its primary crypto-coin.

First of all Bitcoin has no real trouble, these inconveniences will all be solved in no time with SegWit, bigger blocks and Lightning Network, so it is not really argument because bitcoin can be and will be upgraded.
It is not about coin with the best technical properties which will dominate the market, because if that was the case every new coin with something unique in its code would be huge. And that is not the case at all.
