Well,I believe that nothing is impossible. Because at first I really didn't thought that bitcoin will value at 650$ but look at its value now. So I think it is possible that the amount of bitcoin will be convertible to 6500 dollars. Maybe not now but in the coming years. This will took place when there are only few people who are mining and when bitcoin is popular and widely used in all over the world. |

Since the total market cap of bitcoin is very less, as compared to the FIAT, so if all people start using n thrusting the bitcoins, there is a very good chance that bitcoin will climb very high is a short amount of time. |

you can't just expect something like that so easy, yes it might go much more higher than $700 but don't think for a second if you hold for long time you can be rich as it might get distributed among millions of people only then maybe we can see potentials for the price to increase rapidly over the coming years.

Nothing is impossible in crypto world because it has very huge potential for so big rise, it is hard to predict what will be happen into next 5 years, 10x is not very big task as we see the current growth when it got more than 2x in less than year.

In the next five years there's only two possibilities bitcoin's going to 6500 Dollars or turn to nothing, as we see after mtgox has crashed bitcoin slowly up to 650 dollars again like nowdays, we can't predict the future, if we still using bitcoin and spread it to the world, i truly believe bitcoin will be adopted by mass so that the price will be up.

well i dont fear if bitcoin drops bellow 650 and after X years skyrocket , i was mining bitcoin & alts got my stash and right now im making profit out of thin air (trading) so... iv seen it all before! anti-FUD shield ! ^^

in the 2012 some people said bitcoin will reach to $5000 in 2014 but in the fact the prices even was never reach even half of it and this time i do agree with your opinion and because bitcoin prices very unpredictable might be in the next five years the prices will be down than the current prices

I feel like we've got the top at around 650 or whatever is currently at right now. I just couldn't see it going much higher until people are happy buying fractions of a bitcoin. I did think the same at lower levels but it seems the higher it goes the harder it gets to maintain and rise.

Well this price rise would be huge. So i think that 5 years won't be enough for price rise like this, i think it will need at least 10 years to happen, and only if price won't have any dumps, but i am sure that it will But each day more and more people use bitcoins, so probably one day we will see prices like 10k, 30k and even more for one bitcoin as people will want to buy as much as they can |

I would be very surprised if it rose that much in price within 5 years, but it is possible. It really depends on whether merchants begin to accept bitcoin as a method of payment like paypal. If that were to happen, I think we will see a big jump in price.

it is possible, but only highly unlikely. it means that the price has to go up more than $1000 each year to have such a price level. all the money needed to get the price that high must come from somewhere. i think a realistic scenario to happen in 5 years, is that we'll see the price go up to around $1500-$2000 at maximum. definitely not higher than $2000.

Very possible. The more important question is how likely it is. Despite all the cool goings on I can't really see much that tells me adoption is accelerating. It's plodding along on a slow uptick but that's not enough for those types of price levels.
All the while alts get sillier and pumpier and sometimes sexier. Bitcoin needs to get its arse into gear.

Bitcoin will have a steady increase, but no huge jumps unless something big happens.
Most of the price increase will happen from new users adopting BTC as they realize they can buy things on the internet.
(Darknet markets etc.)
People who buy drugs, weapons, porn on the internet anonymously will be using BTC.
Unless some new major retailers start accepting coins, which could happen, most of the new users will be buying illegal goods, unfortunately.
Everyone else involved with BTC is a miner or an early adopter who is just looking to get money trading/ holding coins.
For the value to really go up, we need more average consumers to use coins for everyday purchases.
