OK, I'm quite baffled at the current ETH pricing situation. Not only did I not see the 'ETHexit' as I predicted, the price is moving upward as though these last weeks of crazy sauce with the ETH situation didn't happen. So, what's up? Can anyone that brought/is hodling please explain your motivations to me? I'm trying to get a read on market sentiment.

I've been watching this somewhat--and no, I haven't bought any.  I think you'd be out of your F-ing mind to do so, but ethereum folks seem to have balls of steel when it comes to this.

Not sure how many hardcore eth buyers are going to show up to brag about that, but there has to be a pretty significant number if the price hasn't been flushed down the toilet (and it hasn't, yet).

imo the price is pumped artificially;
it's kept high so when people -who are getting their eth worth of dao tokens back & want out- start to sell the dump wont begin at sub $10 range!
i'll be ultra-surprised if the price continue to pump without hitting $7 range initially!

i've been having a pocket full of eth since forever; i didn't sell & i'm not going to;
they cost me sth like $3 each mining, i don't really care where the price is going;
i'm holding as keep sake, sentimentally!

How can you be sentimental about a virtual token  Huh

How about holding on to your relationships with the people you built memories with from the community instead.

No wonder the females think we are insane.

I bought a small bag at 170 and sold at 188 when it started to decline and was losing steam to reach 0.02. Right now it's still at the same price, who knows if it will go above to 0.024 or whatever, it really doesn't make much sense. Anyway I've made a small profit and that's all it matters, time will tell but it was really risky in my opinion to hold and wait.

I think eventually the price will be back to sub $10 as interest and hype wear off but it could take weeks. New DAOs and news will be met with plenty of skepticism too.
