Bitmaintech will send you the gear 99% of the time.

They are in China and sometimes customs screw up the deliveries if that happens fuck you.
If it came broken fuck you.
If it breaks in under 90 days and you look for warranty service fuck you.

Much of the fuck you's involve  shipping back on your dime and waiting a month or more for gear replacement.

bitmaintech.com based in China

bitmainwarranty will charge a little more send you the gear 99.9 % of the time  if it is broken they are much better on service

  based in usa

I have purchased a lot of gear from China  more then 50 pieces since 2013 >  Everyone made it to my home in New Jersey.

1 came broken   I could show a photo of it broken ten minutes after it was marked delivered and bitmaintech  said ship it to china no cross shipping basically fuck you.
bitmainwarranty  pm'd me to send it to them and they crossed shipped one from Denver.  3 day delay  vs 30 days.

Another one from China came and underhashed  4400 vs 4800 bitmaintech never sent me reinbursement.  I bitched and moaned for 9 months.  bitmainwarranty sent me a 150 usd refund on may 1st this year.

In both cases  bitmainwarranty fixed bitmaintech's problems.  good for me but I would not tell you this is the norm.

For me I order from China more often then not. But frankly it is not safe  just pretty safe .

9 of 10 safe or maybe 48 of 50 safe.

I've had the same experience as Philip - I've purchased a couple hundred miners from them over the past few years, they don't treat you any better if you buy 100 miners in a go, or 1 miner.  Never had any issues with them sending stuff, although they're generally hard to get a hold of.  Warranty is useless, probably better to just throw it in the trash than try to get them to fix it - although I haven't used their US center, and have read positive things about it on here.  My experience with their gear is it's either as good as it's going to be, or DOA.  Oh, and I've done both wire's to them and paid in BTC - no real difference except the wire takes longer.

Buying from BitMain Tech is safe?

Never

One of my S9 Batch1 arrived with one blade D.O.A.

I paid 70 euro shipping costs to send broken blade  to China and today  I got a message, that  my blade has arrived to repair.

It is after 3 opened tickets and real arrival time was 29.07 06.2016

Buy only if you're willing to risk.

EDIT.

real arrival time was 29.06.2016

Buying from them is relatively reliable, and their is shipping as well- it's pretty fast and just generally works. Not much to say there. Being the company with the most miners sold in the world, yeah, buying from them is safe. Do they guarantee ROI? No. Do they sell miners that won't get you anything? Yes. Buy at your own risk and do research before buying.
