With difficulty 0.027 you need ~ 11.58 * 10^7 coin-day-second to find a proof of stake block.

If you have 1 coin with age 30 days, then you have 30 coin-days. I.e. estimated block search time will be ~ 11.58 * 10^7 / 30 = 3.86 * 10 ^ 6 seconds = 1072 hours.

But we don't take into consideration that the age of coins isn't constant and grows while block searching process.

Already found some pools for NVC, no need to post.

Another question - What would be a good strategy for a small miner to help prevent the 51% attack with NVC?

My only guess is - mine as much as you can, but not in the largest pool. And, collect as many NVC as you can.
