The best forum for bitcoin is the current forum you are using now. It has a superb member base and also very active.

However, if you are an investor in mining programs, then https://bitmakler.net/ will be a very helpful resource to you. As of now I am using both.

I think we can also add cointelegraph.com and newsbtc.com in the list of bitcoin news blog and i couldn't find any other forum better than this forum for bitcoin discussion.

I usually check news on coindesk, cointelegraph and bitcoin.com news where as i visit this forum daily for both bitcoin related and altcoin related discussion and news.

You maybe want to add freebitcointalk.org if you like GA and faucet. Not that this forum didn't have a board dedicated for that sections, but freebitcointalk allows you to post referral link which might be beneficial for faucet lovers

But in my opinions the steemit is more to social media, using a useful information to connected their member. getting a dollar from them is not easy, it's relied on with the usefulness of your information. more having a lot of usefulness a lot of people will be interested join in your topic or post.

The problem with steemit is all those whales. They just upvote to give themselves, friends or even crapposters money. It's disgusting.

Steemit will never be great in future. All the users do is more likely to get shitloads of up-votes for their crappy articles and basically stamping away from the actual and important discussions.

Always remember this way: Where there is money there is no real discussion. I can already notice the early adopters taking away the cake and always standing out even after writing bullshit articles.
So never in a million years will steemit stand out. You should just look it upon as a cryptocurrency and nothing else.
