Minimum Amount To Start Trading?

I will be using LocalBitcoins, if I have 0.5 BTC I can sell up to 85% of that in my own advert then the rest on another person's advert. Is there a way to make a profit this way? Or is 0.5 simply not enough to start with?

Though skills are very important but luck is also need.So, none can assure you that you will win only.Soo it's better to start trading with small amount which you can afford to lose. I started trading with 0.1btc & now I Invest Minimum 1btc in altcoin investment.

Wow ,your such a good trader chief ,i don't earn it yet on trading even 1 btc is too hard for me .i have many experience as well as skills i learned from my mistakes. but now as i change my stratedgy ,i am hoping in long trades as many traders i know got a big profit there .

1btc is very risky and a big amount to invest in trading and i guess your rich enough on trading so you only see 1btc as minimum investment. As the average investors like me about 0.5 is enough to start.

he already knew what his doing thats why he invested 1btc since he have idea what he can achieved in profits, start small learn the and take the risk after when you already knew how it played and earn much bigger.

If you know what you are doing you can earn huge profit with a high amount capital, trading the best place to earn if you already learn it. 1btc is still not small but it's enough if you know how to play it safe.

No way you will be successful with that kind of mentality, the thing is you can measure your skills because you owned it but you cannot measure your luck as you do not owned it, so the 60% and 40% you are talking does not make sense, I hope you analyze that.

The problem that a lot people have when trading with low amounts, is that they take extra risks in order to get a higher profit.

And if they made a decent profit once, they try to do the same with a much higher amount, and exactly that's the moment where they go wrong.

Thats what I did, I have no knowledge in cryptocurrency trading. I only read here on btctalk forum then i try on Yobit. Since the lowest amount to trade is 10,000 satoshi,its  not a big deal whether I lose. I do trading and learned the basics until I know the systems. Just try trading,gain knowledge and develop your confidence in trading.

well as i read this i remember those days when we only have .004 btc to start doing buy low and sell high and we keep sending private message from yobit asking which coin would be the next to play, oh well its been 3 months now we can both say that we are earning little by little and we keep on learning new things and apply it as our strategy.

I agree with buying on a low price and wait and watch for some gain. Don't be too greedy! For a starter I would maybe recommend: buy in on an altcoin low --> Sell the equivalent btc of your buy for a higher price --> Keep the altcoins leftover in your wallet. If you're choosing the right altcoins in regard of popularity, I think there is a strong chance that you'll a medium profit in the long run.

Now if you're able to keep your initial investment of ?btc for a longer period of time, you can start growing your portfolio. It is import to keep records though

I do not favor that luck will work that much which knowledge skill and experience do, luck only work on some occasions by chance and on all other bad conditions the newbie continue to lose.

The role is already to break a half for the skill contribution and the another fur your luckiest. if you do not get luckiest a lot of your skill are will not useful because you're always lost the best moment for using your skill and gaining a profit.

there's indeed no limit for trading or any requirement but if the amount were too tiny then the trading will become useless,the money will be cutoff by the fee and endup not gaining profit but lose even you just make money out of selling altcoin with higher price,such a waste of time to be honest

You should only buy the good altcoin with real potential. Most of the altcoins are just the scam coins.

Starting with small amount of investment , it is safe to trade but the drawback is that you wont be able to get a lot of profit with small investments.
If you are not a Newbie in trading, go with the maximum amount you can afford to trade.
