Wouldn't it be possible to capture him? You know dead or alive? Alive would be great!!! Find his location, prepare massive assault, sleeping gas over the city, extract him, show him in an orange suit on teevee... This guy has tortured so many women and cause so much carnage worldwide... Go Barack, a last trophy!

Bit of a problem with the first step. Find his location. Then I'm not sure getting him alone would do much. Good for morale. But isis would choose the next guy to lead them and carry on. And getting him alive? Doubt that would happen. Like with bin laden. Could cause too many problems. He knows too much and it would come out if he ever faced trial or something. What circumstances led to the creation of isis and why. How it was created. Which powerful individuals finance it. Who plans it all. Who supports it, which countries, etc.

That guy is like a hydra, once you kill him it will multiply his head. Baghdadi can be easily replace with another leader that has potential to rule ISIS. The best thing is to wipe 80% of them, still doubt if there's a chance this will happen.

He's got plenty of space to hide in and it's considerably easier to get a spy close to a low level person. Someone like that is only going to be surrounded by his oldest associates.

what kind of person this is. is this really some one or just the imagination. i think that it is impossible to capture that person. and the second is that it is not our duty to capture him. i think the police should take a positive step about this.

The police arresting al-baghdadi, the current leader of isis? He owns what "police" they have. And I don't see others revolting against him or something like that either.

Uhm, I think Bagdadi will be captured with time or he might end up getting shot in the middle of his terrorist activities. People like that don't usually last long.

I'm not surprised if even America can't find him. America has so many ideas like in the action films, how great their strategies are. I also heard a news that america has relation to Isis, so why still hope they will find the leader of isis and kill him while they are the founder of this terrorist group? still fail to see the point of this thread.

How much is his head worth? Maybe time to add a 0... Payable in BTC. So Bitcoin will have defeated isis:).

This is interesting that he last so long... What does it means? 1. Solid support which means that his leadership is uncontested and that his close allies believe in him which means they fully agree with his policies...

The problem I have is that there is no way to know what is going there... The media are so controlled that who knows...

This is one of the biggest problem of the loss of trust in the media sacrificed to build the political narrative... It will bring great arms to those controlling it... Sooner or later they will lose control. Lies are unsustainable because the opponent is reality. A lie has never defeated reality. It can't.

What world are you living in? That happens all the time. Some 85% of people in this world believe in gods or some other fantasy. Most religions contradicting each other and themselves at times. Many people in this forum believe in one form of conspiracy theory or another: fake moon landings, aliens among us, flat earth, one world government, etc. More to the point of this thread anyone with a functioning brain knew the justifications for invading iraq were false. Many protested against the invasion all over the world. Did it stop the invasion? Maybe the lies aren't sustainable with time but it doesn't matter. New ones will be made up. Problem is people don't care if those are lies if it confirms what they want to believe in.

Funny how the peace/antiwar movement very active during the bushII years disappeared as soon as the Obama got in... Very conspirational...

You mean Osama? Well, he was 'hiding' at his own home all that time. Really makes you think.

First of all: who is he? I just realized that UBL was quite known by everyone... Lot of documentaries, books, analysis, everything... On this bagdadi the us admin and medias play total blackout...

This is what I "know" without research, all is pure guess... Iraqi from Baghdad (from the name) born in a Sunni family and a veteran from the Iraq war, was maybe even incarcerated at one point in the big jail, love sex slaves, was seen once in a mosque announcing himself as calif, bearded, black hair with some spot of white, 40-50 yo.

I find it quite little... I am sure he could go incognito in most Europeans cities no one would know who he is...

Just like Obama all over again.

Maybe he is in Northern Africa too you never know...

Good point that the spread of Isis should be stopped in Africa... However I don't believe so... Or very close to his birth town or in some relatively correct stolen houses complex near the capital of their state...

Does he goes to the mosque each Friday? Which one? When was the last time he was seen?

Do you have a good show on him to recommend?

Wouldn't it be time to quickly invade and destroy their capital? Nothing about nation building... The Russian way, aka a enough and more ground tanks and what ever necessary... Go to their main buildings firing on anything that move, plant an American flag on top of the highest standing building, pack everyone and go back to the basis? Hit, plant, run... Risks are very limited... Open a path way Israelis like, roll the tanks with drones and what ever on the air to really be able to create 2 lines of fire on each sides + a moving one in the front, a quick flag planting and leave... With clear rules of engagement aka nothing will move, it can be done in less than 3-4 hours in and out...

Of course it's not about winning and it will not really change the situation on a classical sense... However it's very symbolic. Imagine a nation angry at America, debarks move to DC plant a flag on top of congress and the White House and leave... How would you feel? Ready to cheer? LoL and worst the invaders leave... Which that it's impossible to counter attack or harass... Just humiliated.

Gogogo... And if it moves fire, don't worry for munitions, overwhelming force... Well executed and with surprise there is really a possibility to make it a zero casualty operation... However moving line of destruction must be straight to the goal and the sides ablaze all along... And as everyone in front is dead and the opponents on the side can't see anything from trough the wall of fire and are targeted from above...

Why wasn't it done already? The American army should never be made for peace keeping or nation building abroad... Only munition shuffling... How do you think Russian moved to berlin?

https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Bakr_al-Baghdadi

After reading this, 2 thing appears clear... One that the Russian narrative is pure bear shit made to defend their crimes in the promotion of Assad... And 2 that the us led coalition is very serious in their fighting against Isis... Conclusion as always little 3rd worlders from Russia fucked up a great Middle East redesigning project by cheating, lying and deceiving everyone...

Then he may be dead already... If wounded maybe outside of Iraq but my money is that his location is somewhere in Iraq... Tribal logic... But not where he could be recognized... 10 millions $ only?

First actual proof of life with a picture should be 1 million...
