oh yes. also: it doesn't count regular bank deposits. Only deposits at non-banks. It's basically the cash floating around as I understand it.

Still fun, though, and: The so-called "Bitcoin market capitalization" is also purely cash, not counting any bank deposits.

If you have enough bitcoins, you can hire me to get you your own island in the Philippines. If you don't have enough for an island, I can get you a house instead, with 18 foot high walls and armed guards. I just watched Zero Dark Thirty, so that kinda inspired me.
