im a proponent of this concept, but only theoretically, whereas pragmatically its already proven to be a failure.

Youve got to be crazy to invest in bitcoin now. It is extremly voltatile. Also, if one entity is holding a lot of bitcoin and sells it, the price will crash. The real price of bitcoin should be 10 to 12 bucks max. A year ago the price was in single digits. Someone bought a lot of bitcoin amd is ginna cash out. If you think people are running the stock market, watch out for this. You could always take a chance and buy a lot of bitcoin and sell it. Is too dangerous to hold on to.

I am actually surprised that bitcoin is still around for round 2 of tulip mania. This exact same thing happened in mid-2011 and it was all the same crap being posted - bitcoin is here to stay, invest now, etc etc. Then a TON of people starting mining, difficulty shot way up, and they stopped being profitable to mine. Once that occurred, the price crashed - and it will happen again.
If you want to invest [speculate] then by all means do so, just make sure you get out when they start to crash [again].
