Hello.

I am currently working on an "easy button" for cgminer and litecoin newbies.

Essentially I am going to modify cgminer to be ran with one simple config file where minimal input is needed from the user.

I am going to make cgminer "auto tune" based on a couple of variables to adjust for engine/memory speed automatically for best hash rate and shares submitted.

One thing I am having an issue with is the correlation between GPU and computer hardware and settings in cgminer.

All I would like from you is your system specs and your cgminer settings, this should help me find some kind of correlation.

I've also found that on some systems there is a ratio of engine speed to memory speed.

Mine is 3/5, for every 3mhz engine increase I needed to increase memory by 5mhz to keep it stable and increase hash rate with an intensity of 13.

So if you have a second please submit this data.

Thank you.

Code:
rem start /D "C:\cgminer" cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://notroll.in:3333 -u user.1 -p 12345 -d 0 -d 1 -d 2 --thread-concurrency 8000 -I 18 --lookup-gap 2 --worksize 256 -g 1 -d 0 -d 1 -d 2 --gpu-memclock 1200,1200,1200 --gpu-engine 925,925,925 --gpu-fan 55,55,55 --gpu-vddc 1.20,1.20,1.20

For Asus HD5870 (EAH5870 v2), very stable and temps are good.
Avg. 1320 Khash/s for 3 cards total.

If you like to thank me, considder a LTC donation @ LUXNPiFYx8KZbnmhoEoywQayvCyMB9yp3k

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

That's great.

Everybody's settings are different.

For instance I can up with this for 7970s, I verified it works and so have a couple others.

http://www.judeaustin.com/theoretical-litecoin-gpu-settings/

I want to do the same thing for other cards so it will be easier for people to optimize their settings.

I am looking for patterns in settings in relation to cards.

Just trying to help the community out because a lot of new litecoin miners aren't used to the difference from Bitcoin.

Thanks tho.

I saw this the other day on the litecoin forum: http://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,67.0.html
I think it's pretty similar to what you're doing. The guy also has no problem from someone picking it apart and taking all the data.
