I'm looking at bitvisitors advertising bids:

http://bitvisitor.com/stats.php

It uses terminology like

3.2e-05
1.15e-05
7.2e-05

Does anyone know how to translate those to actual btc amounts?

That's usually when the actual amount is so low the script (on the website it's self) doesn't seem to be able to display it properly so it just does... that. When I've just started mining on the pool I use (EMC) the estimated reward looks like that too so, I guess it's something to do with that.

It's called scientific notation. Here's the (probably over-complicated) Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_notation

Much thanks.

3.2e-5 means 3.2x10-5 = 0.000032 BTC

Then the easiest way to calculate it is to move the decimal point left one place for each - exponential value?

e-5 = 5 places to the left?

THANKS!
