Hello I am mining and all of that and all of that. My friend was talking about if I reformat my computer and I would lose the bitcoin, is there any way to like save it or something if you understand what I'm trying to say. Sorry I'm new to this stuff. Please help me Sad

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Just make a backup of the wallet.dat file located in

Windows: %APPDATA%\Bitcoin\
Linux: ~/.bitcoin/
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/

you can back-up the wallet.dat file if your using bitcoin-qt (the original satoshi client)

Or you can send your money to an online account like on blockchain or instawallet or mtgox or wherever.
