Author Topic: Can not connect tby rpc to bitcoind from host use cloudflare  (Read 607 times)

Hello everyone,

I have a problem about connect to bitcoind, I install and config bitcoind and connect ok from my host. But when connect from host use cloudflare it's cann ot connect, I add both real IP and IP of cloudflare but still can not connect, show error 524.


How to connect to bitcoind from host use cloudflare?

Please help me.

If you can't connect via your IP, then it isn't a cloud flare issue since that works mostly at the DNS level.   Do you have s firewall set up?  Are you allowing connections from machines besides localhost?

Host of bitcoind don't enable firewall, and I added real IP of site to bitcoin.conf. I connected to bitcoind by rpc from orther host and it's working, only host use cloudflare can not connect.

I'm not sure what you mean "only host use cloudflare can not connect.". If you mean you are trying to connect using the cloudflare dns entry, then I don't think that will ever work.  You'll have to use the ip. If you look at cloudflare, you'll see it is the same as connecting using ftp etc - you'd have to use the ip.
