Good to start but let's admit it, the amount is not that big to take us somewhere else, we also need to consider that the possible income in trading if we are successful in not like in gambling where we can easily double our capital. Maybe, when you learn you can add up any amount but that is good for start up I guess.

If you are investing in altcoins then you can never afford to hold them for a long term and if you do so then you are playing with your investments as no one knows when any particular coin will simply disappear.

There are a couple of coins that have done well long-tem (XMR for example) but yes the majority of alts have lost ground against BTC (effectively losing money).  Most alts simply enrich the exchanges and whales praying on small time investors without discipline.

Not only on dogecoin but   there are lots of potential  alts to choose from  and 0.1 btc is decent enough to make such trading  to these alts which could possibly give or  grow your money but  you should   be  knowledgeable  on trading so that you would be profitable with it.

If you want my suggestion, I will suggest to divide that 0.1 and put the 1/2 on a legit investment site and put the other 1/2 to altcoin trading because based on my experience altcoin trading is one of the best way to grow your bitcoin fast. Just study the basics and always go with flow on what's trending and i'm sure that you will earn good amount of profits .

there are a lot of things wrong with what you said.
doing this is only a 0.33% profit after deducting the amount of fees you have to pay and i am only considering one trade not the two.

also prices under $600 line are riskier and may not happen as often as you may like and so you will be stuck waiting for that price to come and it never happens or you may have to wait a month for that price.

and as always if you have not enough experience in trading you should never try it.

If you invest in altcoin and if price starts dropping then you can sell them at any point, you may suffer loss but you will not loose all your investments, you will be having something in hands at the end of the day.

You can invest on 10 different altcoins with 0.01 BTC investment each. More altcoins that you invested into, the more chances for you to get a profit. Be very selective of which altcoins, though, a lot of altcoins are becoming a scam coin nowadays. We can afford to hold coins like xmr, etc and eth for long term as we are sure that it will not disappear suddenly but same feeling doesn't goes with newly launched coins.

That would be wasting it but OP is not asking a way of doing that i guess, but he wants to make more with that which is only possible from trading with such a small capital, no other investment plans would work i guess, he should try some potential altcoins and trade them by using mind.
