but instead of images is showing the link...is this because i am a new member?do i need more posts or some positive trust?

Are you using the correct button when you post it?  You should have text like this on either side of your link

"[img /img]"

Its the button above the winking smiley face.

newbies can't post images. you need to become atleast Jr Member before you can post images. it is to prevent image spam from newbies.

Thanks, i forgot about the code tag. i was trying to figure out how to stop it from looking like this and the only way i could work it out in a rush was to remove the ] and [ . The code box obviously works a lot better than my method =p
