This question's answer lies on what type of gambling games you are playing, if you are playing casino then 99% you need luck, but if you are playing dice, poker with live players, then with small strategy you can be in profit but when you get greedy you will be back to zero bankroll. but if you are playing in sports betting with small research you can be in profit for long time but for that you should not see the odd of winning but you should only see that you are winning on that bet.

Depends, what kind of gambling you asked? If you mean about dice, yes, i believe there's just pure luck. But if you mean about sport gambling, no, you must have skill and much experience, so you can predict if you'll win in your next bet (see joca and carlos).

yes I believe that luck can influence 50% of our victory. the rest is skill required. luck factor is very important. I have better luck than I have the skill to play gambling.

yes and no.
i think it mainly depends on the type of the game that you are playing before anything else come in.

for example in a game like dice or similar chance based games you only depend on luck to win and nothing else can change that. and you only can use some strategy like martingale to have a rout to follow.

but in games like poker, or betting on sports it is still luck but the main thing here is your skills in those games that can change the result of your win or lose.

luck is indeed a necessary thing in gambling, but I do not believe and are sure 100% that luck is somebody get a benchmark victory, as in gambling we should also use strategies and self control. Without these two things then it will all fall apart

Yes i think so, unless you are being scam by the site or the casino, most of the gambling games depend on probability, and the probability is very difficult to guess, that is why you only depend on your luck to win the games, one game is casino that not only rely on your luck is the poker game, you can win by bluffing in poker games despite your card is not good

Well luck is an integral part of gambling and a major requirement for being victorious in different games of chance. It's like asking if chess players need knowledge and skill to win. without variance in theory the players should lose every bet they make , the house edge is 1% so without variance if you bet 1 btc you should lose 0.01 btc every bet you make ( as I said in theory )
now variance or luck is what makes the game fun

Yeah, luck is necessary to win from the house as some players made very huge profit just to get started with faucet amount or with tip, few days ago I heard a player turned 0.01BTC into 80BTC on a very popular dice site, so that is why I am quite sure about it without great luck we can't make good profit.
