Hey everyone. I'm new in this forum and also in BTC.
I've been trading in bitfinex.com (BTC/USD) for one week and I follow BTC/USD price instantly in this website; http://preev.com/btc/usd

I've realized something that everyone in bitfinex.com change prices instantly and all together. So obviously, they follow BTC's price from somewhere and decide instantly.

My question is that what website do they consider about BTC's price?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The value of bitcoins are very unsteady. Every hour and every minute bitcoin value changes so its very difficult to determine when its gonna rise its price. If you are trying to sell your bitcoin i guess this is the time cause its currently at a high price. If you are going to keep your bitcoin until it rises, i guess it takes a lot of time to rise its price.

I think this site is great for analyzing the movement of bitcoin plus many indicators that we can use, such as metatrader Smiley and sites like this are needed because some of the exchanger only provide charts with limited tools. thanks for sharing dude.

you should probably look into charts if you wanna get serious about following the price.
I use tradingview with about 3 o 4 charts from different exchanges open. you'll get a little obsessed though. for some reason watching those charts all day becomes addictive Smiley

I always check the price of bitcoin on my local bitcoin market, because i can easily check the price from many sites, like bitstamp and on china market too. It is vip.bitcoin.co.id.

haha yeah me too, I also use this local exchanger from Indonesia. Fairly easy to trading there, because we can see the updated price of some of the bitcoin market. You might also want to try it, because there is also the English language, and also provided some altcoin Smiley

I heard you can also get a market update on coinmarketcap.

yes but there is a big delay because coinmarketcap does not provide you with live price but instead they update it with a big interval of couple of minutes.

and i think OP is looking for more live price, which i think the best option is checking the exchanges themselves because any other service may have some delays too.

i have recently checked those site and compare from other exchange and seems the prices very accurately and my advice to you is just use those site and check bitcoin prices every hours or whatever you want because bitcoin prices movement is always unstable

yeah right each exchanger is indeed the price is different, because each person making the order price is different. But the average price of bitcoin are the same and different even if it is only a little difference. Thank you

As has been conversed above, the differing Bitcoin markets are not only geographically fed but also economically in that not only in the BTC price volatile is by nature but is influenced by the above factors also.

A nice looking constantly updated display can be sought @ https://cryptowat.ch/okcoin/btcusd-weekly-futures/15min
