Bitcoin brought us Blockchains, but Blockchains brought us Ethereum. Ethereum is growing much faster then Bitcoin and designing new uses for Blockchain technology. Although both will most likely continue to be used in the future, who will be the biggest? And what else may lay around the corner for Blockchain technology?

I sure the best altcoins is Etherium for right now, now I have 100 ETH, when I buyed 6 months ago the price only $ 9, but today the price more than $ 13, so I have big profit

Eth is just another altcoin thats had some success.  If shouldn't even be compared to bitcoin,  its just a passing phase and shouldn't be in bitcoin discussion.  If you've made profit then best to lock it in and dump your coins because everyone else will soon enough.

absolutely right, this time altcoin ETH is the best, and perhaps ETH is altcoin which has the highest price in comparison altcoin others. but, I think if we compare it with the current bitcoin, ETH may lose in various aspects, well, we know that the price is already very high because bitcoin bitcoin is the first coin to surface. but the development of ETH is currently faster than the development of bitcoin in the past, maybe in the future ETH, can compete with bitcoin

I must admit that i do agree with you that ETH has a very fast development and i have to say too currently ETH has become the most popular altcoins for the altcoins traders but doesn't mean ETH will be the rival of bitcoin even ETH have potential to do so but need time to proof it and could ETH will survive for next 5 or 10 years because bitcoin has already proof it with could survive from 2009 till now

i agree that etherium has a fast phase in terms of development. but they still lack of sucrity and that is the most important factor that we consider on buying some alt coins.

the best thing you can do right now is hold both of bag and wait 5-10 years!
Btw i think ether has more potential to become the next train to insane profit
i filled my ether bag when the price was at .005 and btc price was hovering around 350 , last August

 I see where this is going. Its like in Stocks. Value Stocks vs. Growth Stocks. Value Stock like BTC has been there for years and has a stable price, Like a Blue Chip it is slow on movement but rarely on price drops. I think that every serious cryptocurrenc can stop bitcoin domination and take 1 place.It is possible like example if etherum is created in America they can say bitcoin is is illegal and Etherum is legal so they can help to stop bitcoin domination.
I am also thinking to create own cryptocurrency and I know starategy to go to top 5 ranked cryptocurrencies but it is my secret.Somebod knows can I pay developers to create for me cryptocurrency from my head?Or I must code alone and create it?I think that it is possible to pay someone to do that because now  almost every type of earn money online site  you can pay to developers to create for you like ptc site,renevue share,faucet site.If somebody know site where I can pay developers for that write here or send me in pm please because in 2017 year  i want to start  design something better than ptc site and revenue share and own cryptocurrency.

So you are going to create your altcoin to support your revenue sharing site or mlm chances you're not goin gto have a big support here,because crypto currency is decentralize and what you're going to created is another shitcoin and you brag that you can make it on top 5 what else do you know that all these devs or admins don't

It is true that ethereum has grown in faster rate than bitcoin however this is not becasue ethereum is better than bitcoin, main reason is the global craze on blockchain tech and people have become more techy than in past.

Bitcoin is true innovation where as ethereum can be considered as evolution in blockchain based products. However i don't think ethereum can replace bitcoin in any time in future.

Stop comparing bitcoin and ethereum already. They are completely different and serve completely different purposes.

Bitcoin paved the way for all other cryptocurrencies to grow. No wonder that they are growing faster than bitcoin has, as the market is much more mature.

It would be a sign that cryptocurrencies are failing if new coins grow at the same speed as bitcoin imo.

ethereum has some very cool elements. am i gonna trust it with my own money? um, hell no. not after what's happened recently. some are gonna call it growing pains. i'll call it a clusterfuck. it's a great tool for learning more but it's tried to do too much too early.

nothing is sure for the future. but i seriously doubt that a coin like ethereum which is becoming more and more centralized and has only been pump and dumped so far can survive for long.

the blockchain technology will exist forever and will be perfected as we go forward even if btc, eth, .... cease to exist.

If the bitcoin block size does not increase, the current price is the maximum it will reach, even if it has limited supply.

the block size issue is something that will be solved eventually and there is no rush to do it either since the unconfirmed transactions are very small despite the fact that blocks are full. and it has nothing to do with the price at this point.

and i emphasize again there is no rush, look at ethereum and take a big lesson in rushing into changing the code for the coin.

traders don't care about theoretical limits. the price is set by what's for sale or not on the day and how greedy everyone's feeling. it could easily bypass bitcoin only because of that. you're being too idealistic.
